Negotiating, drafting, plus creating legal opinions, advice, notes and comments regarding the contracts, policies and agreements concluded by the company for the different departments within the organization.
Drafting plus creating legal opinions, advice, letters, notes and comments regarding the litigation proceedings whether raised by or against the company.
Revising Vendors Proposals & provide reports.
Drafting legal comments on many critical legal issues, suggesting changes and amendments prominently.
Attending all legally connected meetings with any departments in the company to represent the legal department.
Drafting minutes of Constituent, Extraordinary and Board of Directors Meetings.
Commenting on the consultation papers on matters relating to Capital Markets, corporate law and other privacy-related matters.
Following up on Corporate Governance Issues.
Providing day-to-day coverage for the business and support in identification, analyses and implementation of regulatory changes.
Following up any resolutions, laws & regulations in the Official Gazette.
Prepare a comprehensive legal manual for the department (containing the relevant legal legislations and the latest critical/controversial judgments issued by the courts of Bahrain).
Handling investigation procedures for complaints lodged by VIVA Customers.
Draft legal and regulatory measures which ensure fulfilling the obligations under the Telecommunications Law in Bahrain.
Review the terms and condition as per VIVA licenses obligation and code of practice.
Ensure that Customers legal rights established under the VIVA Date/Mobile Application Forms and are in line with the customer protection guidelines outlined in the Telecommunications Law.
Provide legal advice on the general principles and Laws applied in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Qualification & Experience::
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university
7-10 years of Legal experience preferably in the telecommunications industry
