Senior Group IT Auditor, Bahrain Client of Gulf Connexions -

The successful candidate is required to plan, conduct and supervise Information technology Audits and Reviews across the bank’s branches and its subsidiaries locally and overseas. (Extended international travel will be required). Responsibilities: Oversight of all IT audit activities within the group. Keep all Group Audit staff informed of all on-going system implementation and developments within the bank.
Perform special reviews, investigations, due diligence reviews and other non-routine assignments at the behest of Management and the Audit Committee. Provide continuous support in terms of system knowledge, technology support, help in obtaining the required information and data from various applications. Full and continuous support to other auditors of the group in IT systems matters as well as involvement in on-going system implementations and system development projects. Requirements: Post Graduate Degree in Information Technology/MIS.
Professional System audit qualification i.e. CISA. Extensive experience in the IT audit field in Finance or banking industry in the GCC with experience in pure IT including programming, system analysis, project management, etc. In depth knowledge of Operating systems (Windows & UNIX), banking applications, Communication network, IT operations, System development life cycles, project management techniques, etc.
Analytical both from technical and business point of view. Fluency in Arabic as well as English. Highly numerate.
