WorleyParsons Bahrain got awarded Contract for five (5) years, with BAPCO refinery project the contract will facilitate the engagement of Specialist Consultants/ Engineering personnel for Engineering Consultancy and for short term hire basis to support Line Functions in the Engineering Division, as and when a requirement is identified.
BAPCO is looking for their Gas Distribution & Sales Department located in Awali – Bahrain, we in the Gas Planning & Sales Section handle and are responsible for the following assignments, as a wide outline:
Review given information from the National Oil & Gas Authority (NOGA) and prepare gas supply agreements for new gas customers.
Coordinate new piping works design specification/parameters, metering station facilities approvals, supply pipelines routes, testing & commissioning for new customers.
Liaise with all gas customers on the various day-to-day issues.
Interact/Follow-up with the different Bapco Departments to manage inter-discipline activities.
Supervise & audit the monthly fiscal gas invoices activity prior to issuing & approving it.
Prepare gas supply forecasts, demands and actual gas consumption reports.
Continuous monitoring & evaluation of the existing gas network performance and identify possible problems, de-bottlenecking solutions & necessary upgrades.
Review & audit all the various letters, reports, tables, annual flow meter calibration schedules etc. before obtaining the necessary consents to send internally &/or externally.
Job Requirements
A university Bachelor academic degree in gas processing/engineering discipline.
More than 10 years experience in the various gas business fields.
Familiar with gas piping systems codes, hydraulic analysis studies, Hazop studies etc.
Demonstrate capability of preparing & administrating contracts/agreements, budget preparation, projects progress measurement, business planning and
promoting safety goals.
Fluent in spoken & written English language.
A team worker who has the ability to manage a team of trainee & assistant Engineers.
Good presentation skills & computer software skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
