Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Join the Team at Royal Bahrain Hospital

Royal Bahrain Hospital is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and patient-focused Healthcare Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including mobility, feeding, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Support nursing staff in providing basic patient care and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Measure and record vital signs as directed.
  • Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and clinical areas.
  • Ensure patient comfort and respond promptly to patient needs.
  • Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
  • Follow infection control, health and safety, and hospital policies at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bahraini National preferred.
  • Diploma or Certificate in Healthcare Assistance, Nursing Assistance, or a related healthcare field.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate, caring, and professional attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care and infection control practices.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
