Full job description

A Delivery Driver oversees the dispatching and efficiency of delivery operations. Responsibilities include ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety, and optimizing routes. This role demands strong logistical skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure timely and efficient transfer of company products

2. Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of baked goods, maintaining freshness and quality standards.

3. Monitor traffic, weather, and branch-specific delivery windows to adjust routes proactively.

5. Conduct regular briefings to align drivers on schedules, hygiene protocols, and customer service expectations.

6. Address delays, complaints, or delivery discrepancies and escalate when necessary.

7. Ensure all delivery vehicles are maintained, cleaned, and serviced regularly.

8. Track vehicle documentation (registration, insurance, inspection) and coordinate renewals.

9. Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements

10. Ensure proper handling of fragile items (e.g., cakes, pastries) to prevent damage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD250.000 per month
