About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support and strengthen our finance function. This role requires hands-on involvement in financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and operational finance activities while assisting senior management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure financial stability
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and statutory requirements
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior leadership
  • Conduct financial analysis, cost control, and profitability assessments
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee-related financial transactions
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities as required
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization
  • Support ERP/accounting system, upgrades, and data integrity checks
  • Assist in financial risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior finance staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
