Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to manage, organize, and maintain patient medical records while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare documentation standards. The ideal candidate will support healthcare staff by maintaining efficient record systems and assisting with medical information management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize patient medical records and documentation.
  • Enter, update, and verify patient information in medical record systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical files.
  • Retrieve and provide medical records when requested by authorized personnel.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow privacy regulations.
  • Scan, file, and archive medical documents properly.
  • Assist with registration and administrative record processes.
  • Review records for missing information or documentation errors.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative teams.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and filing systems.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Medical Records, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Records Clerk, Healthcare Assistant, or Administrative Assistant is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation procedures.
  • Basic understanding of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Strong data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information professionally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities.
  • Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy and compliance practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple records and administrative tasks efficiently.

Pay: Up to BD196.450 per month
