Full job description

IT support Technician

We are looking for a Qualified, Skilled IT support Technician to join our team to be responsible of day-to-day Technical Support and Helpdesk tasks, The candidate will be responsible for providing general networking support, troubleshooting basic IT issues, and assisting with the maintenance of IT systems.

Key Responsibility:

  • Experience in Microsoft and non-Microsoft onsite support and end-user support.
  • Good knowledge and experience in Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 / Office 365 and Intune.
  • Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting PCs, laptops, operating systems and software.
  • Experience in network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting and configuring users' PCs within a network environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting telephone and VoIP issues.
  • Experience in supporting and troubleshooting printers, scanners, photocopiers, multifunction printers and plotters.
  • Experience supporting hardware, software, production/in-house applications and networking.
  • Experience in IT hardware inventory management and maintaining proper documentation and reports.
  • Good critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act as the first point of contact for end-user IT support and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Experience participating in IT projects and providing technical support, documentation and feedback.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant Microsoft certification would be preferred.
  • Candidates should be comfortable providing onsite support and attending urgent/out-of-hours support when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements:

Job Type: Full-time

Minimum 5 years experience in IT

Language: Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

  • Strong understanding of general networking concepts, protocols, and services.
  • Proficient in basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
