Position: Medical Receptionist

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing professional front-desk and administrative support. You will manage appointments, patient registrations, medical records, and enquiries while helping ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.

What You'll Do?

• Welcome patients and visitors professionally.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Register patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Verify patient information, insurance details, and referrals.
• Coordinate appointments with doctors and clinical staff.
• Process patient registrations and collect payments where applicable.
• Respond to patient enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support daily administrative operations.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare administrative role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic.
• Knowledge of patient registration and insurance verification processes.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
