Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and guest-focused Hotel Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across all core departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage (F&B), Maintenance, and Guest Services. In this role, you will ensure seamless daily operations, maintain strict quality and brand standards, drive profitability, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee daily guest touchpoints (check-in/out, concierge, room service, housekeeping) to maintain high service standards.
  • Handle escalated guest complaints and feedback promptly, driving high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and positive online reviews.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to enforce cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence.

2. Departmental Coordination & Staff Leadership

  • Direct and coordinate Department Heads (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Executive Chef/F&B, Engineering/Maintenance).
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and continuous training for frontline hotel staff.
  • Foster a positive team culture to minimize employee turnover in a high-tempo environment.

3. Financials, Revenue & Inventory

  • Partner with the Revenue Manager and General Manager to optimize occupancy rates, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
  • Manage operational budgets, control departmental labor costs, and monitor inventory for housekeeping and F&B supplies.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, maintenance contracts, and supply chain logistics.

4. Safety, Compliance & Facility Operations

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, food safety, local fire codes, and licensing regulations.
  • Oversee property maintenance and emergency response protocols (e.g., power outages, medical emergencies, evacuation plans).

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of operational leadership experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality properties.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera, Cloudbeds, or HMS.
  • Working knowledge of POS systems, online travel agencies (OTAs), and yield management tools.

Pay: Up to BD500.000 per month
