Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accountant to join our growing Finance team. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and take ownership of the company's day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring that our books are accurate, reconciled, and up to date.

This role is suited to someone who is independent, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility for accounting operations, while also supporting the Finance Manager with reporting, compliance, and financial analysis.

What You Will Do
  • Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • AP, AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end closing activities and prepare supporting schedules and journals.
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting and management accounts.
  • Manage VAT accounting and compliance, including VAT returns and WHT returns.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide required information and supporting schedules.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounting issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Work with other departments to resolve finance and accounting queries.
  • Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and finance projects.
  • Help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting as the company grows.

What We Are Looking For:
  • 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification required.
  • Strong practical experience in general accounting and month-end closing.
  • Good understanding of IFRS, company law, WHT and VAT.
  • Ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Highly organised, responsive, and comfortable working with tight deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset: you don't just identify problems; you follow them through to resolution.

Desirable Skills & Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an additional advantage:
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or subscription-based business.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting.
  • Knowledge of Saudi VAT and cross-border transactions.
  • Experience with accounting integrations and finance automation.
