Recruiter (Current Employee) - Dallas, TX - September 28, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeedfun workplace but definitely for sales minded people. I absolutely love my team. Job is definitely for someone who wants to put in the work. You are rewarded for the work you put in.

they wait for you to build book of business and then push you out
Business Development Manager, HR & Administrative Division (Former Employee) - Tulsa, OK - September 27, 2023
If someone younger comes along watch out they will push you out. i was there over 10 years and then pushed out and my book of business was given to a 22 year old. They tell you are great and then with no warning or write up fire you.
Pros
good if you are young and pretty and preferral white
Cons
tried to sue me but backdown when they saw I wasn't backing down

Okay for new graduates but you'll grow more and faster elsewhere
OM (Former Employee) - Denver, CO - September 15, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Weekly Pay, accrual of floater holidays and vacation time What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The personalities. It's very cult-like, with most new hires being right out of college, unequal pay, and a trip incentive awarded to only producers. Back office staff was treated with unequal respect but lots of demand. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Work "hard", party hard(er). Booze and other substances flowed

Productive and fun work place
Manager (Current Employee) - Washington, DC - September 11, 2023
Over all great place to work. The system is great. I appreciate that there is good communication with the recruiters. It’s weekly lag and that’s great too.

Great work place
CNC Laser Operator (Former Employee) - Orlando, FL - September 5, 2023
It's a great place to work. I started with no experience and was operating a laser within 4 months. Advancement is easy and it's a friendly work environment. Especially for someone with a criminal record as myself.
Pros
Free lunches sometimes and great perks
Cons
Really none

Nothing special
Nothing bad to say about them. Liked it and felt that my team was very nice. Good recruitment firm but nothing that truly stood out with my experience there.

They don't listen
Human Resources Assistant (Former Employee) - Oklahoma City, OK - August 2, 2023
Finding the right place for you is just as important as being a valuable asset. Addison Group completely ignored my needs and sent me to a place of work that I was not open to. I gave it two days before letting them know it wasn't going to work and I was looking for a better fit. I was told my their agent that I would never be given an assignment from them again trying to intimidate me to go back to that awful place.
Pros
None

Extremely petty and backstabbing environment.
Staffing Specialist (Former Employee) - Cook County, IL - July 26, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Great people for the most part. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Layoffs and terrible benefits What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Petty and lots of cliques. There are some good people but you have to watch your back at all times. People get fired at the drop of a hat. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Somewhat boring and required to be in the office three days a week.

No opportunity for growth
Recruiter (Former Employee) - Anonymous - June 27, 2023
Loved the people I worked with but there was absolutely no opportunity for career advancement. They do not value tenure and prefer to hire new grads to churn and burn

Valuable learning experience
Recruiter (Former Employee) - Chicago, IL - May 17, 2023
Pros: - Gain confidence calling and interviewing people - Opportunity to learn A LOT about the industry you recruit for (although no formal training) - Some sales training on how to close candidates Cons - extremely stressful culture since if you're not placing candidates, you're not valuable - very cliquish culture - the office is set up so everyone can hear and judge your calls - quantity over quality matters, as long as your candidate makes his/her 90-day guarantee

Churn and burn
Business Development Representative (Former Employee) - Nashville, TN - April 9, 2023
The team I was on has now cycled through roughly 16 employees in the past year. There are no words for the attrition rate there. The management should not be competing with their subordinates for commission.

It’s ok if you understand how it works
Accounting Clerk (Former Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - March 21, 2023
This is my first staffing service I’ve worked with and plan to never do it again. My recruiter was so helpful and eager to get me into ANY positions from the beginning, communication wasn’t all that great, I Would leave vm’s, texts, emails and wouldn’t hear back until the following week or until I nagged. It was ok for a bit, but I quickly learned that you’re just a number and they are throwing out as many jobs to as many people to get commission or paid by those companies.

Team oriented culture yet you get to bring your authentic self!
Interim Recruiting Manager (Current Employee) - Philadelphia, PA - March 14, 2023
Normal day is setting meetings with potential candidates, screening them for potential hires with our clients and being a market intel resource for those on the job market. I have learned to control what I can control and to not take rejection personally. The culture is very fun-loving, collaborative with employee recognition and rewards. The hardest part of the job is managing people and people can be unpredictable. The most enjoyable part is changing a person's life with their dream job!
Pros
Unlimited PTO, flexible hybrid schedule and leadership is truly engaged with employees
Cons
Work-Life Balance- may have to put in some extra hours outside of work to grow

Supportive and fun workplace, will gain lots of great experience
Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) - Chicago, IL - March 13, 2023
Structured tasks and 2-week engaging training really prepared me for my role at Addison Group. Being an internal employee (not on sales floor) has been the best opportunity I've had in my career. My team and managers have been extremely amazing and supportive. We are always being rewarded for our hard work and efforts either via outings, lunches, gift cards, or half days. Only thing to get used to is the extremely young workforce here. As well as the lack of diversity in the corporate office. Overall, provides a healthy work-life balance with hybrid schedule, remote opportunities, and PTO. I can honestly disconnect from work during my evenings and weekends.
Pros
initiatives, work-life balance, proper training, professional development, gym in building
Cons
not a lot of diversity

The people can make or break this job!
Associate Recruiter (Current Employee) - Nashville, TN - February 27, 2023
This is a great job starting off your career straight out of college. Great to start out and gain professional experience. Recruiter and sales can be a bit of a rocky job with some highs and lows and need to be prepared for that. Your team can really help make this job more enjoyable and having a manager who is understand encouraging is game changing.
Pros
good benefits, good compensation, great team inclusion, good office
Cons
cold calls, little PTO starting off, 8-5 work days
