Buen trabajo

Para crecer mucho networking y lo que eso conlleva, muchas veces abren posiciones pero ya saben a quien se la van a dar. No te llevas el trabajo a casa.

Great WLB and opportunities

American express offers great wlb, if you want to learn you can get excellent opportunities for growth. Leaders are understanding, helpful and prefer internal growth. Although it can depend from process to process. Different business units have different environments. The only two con I can share is salary, it is on the lower end as compared to other big companies but in my opinion it can come at the expense of wlb as well, and monotonous work. Other big companies don't really care about wlb as they pay on the higher end but Amex encourages you to maintain your work life separate from your personal life.

Overall Really Good Job

If you like a competitive environment this is the job for you. Your success is solely up to you, if you are not a go getter don’t even apply you will quit. You have to be willing to constantly learn and do your job.

good work life balance but poor pay

can get easy to get comfortable with the Job but reality is that it's poor pay and not in line with broader financial services sector - advice would be to always explore options for the betterment of your career.

Job security

Overall great place to work. Unfortunately not doing WFH options anymore. Working in operations was great, really felt like I was appreciated and I had influence on my work. I really don't have much more to say about it.

Great atmosphere

I worked as a Project-Risk Manager for AMEX’s Operational Excellence Issue Management Team. It was hard and complex work but my team support was amazing and the culture is great. As a contractor the money was decent but full time AMEX employees get great benefits and salaries

good pay but very stressful. My management wasnt great. Good benefits also. Great monthly bonuses. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Dont know what else

Great company, but many stressful times

Working phones and customer is a difficult job, no matter what company it is. I did have lots of support from management and I loved my coworkers. 50/50 with customer interactions. Stressful calls for 7hrs with all kinds of situations where something has gone wrong with airlines or hotels. Travel industry is just full of surprises. I learned that travel is just not my thing. I would have stayed with Amex if I could have gotten off the phones, but it’s what I was hired for and they needed lots of staff on phones. Overall it’s a great company. My best friend still works there and she loves it

I was misled from the beginning and it was the worst work experience of my life.

What is the best part of working at the company?There was a lot of employee engagement. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Like with any call center, metrics are all that count.
