Best Employer

Best Employer in the world. Great Benefits. Even parents are covered with HMO. Medicine reimbursement up to 35k in a year. Eyeglassess reimbursement.

Applied to be a customer care rep, but the interview process was so long and tedious due to several rounds. I didn’t get chosen, but I hear it’s a great company to work for

Hire and fire policy

Worst company to work with. No job security !! They follow hire and fire policy. Stupid rating system solely depend upon customer. Even 9 out of 10 they consider very good not excellent

Buena empresa, excelentes presentaciones pero el liderazgo deja mucho que desear

La empresa tiene muy buenos valores, equilibrio entre la vida personal y profesional, sin embargo para las personas que ya tienen cierta antigüedad y buscan un ascenso es muy ambiguo a pesar de que hay muchas herramientas para el plan de carrera os líderes están mas enfocados en aus propias métricas e incluso llega a haber preferencias no siendo claras las vacantes internas.

Great Company. Difficult but great context.

My time at AMEX was very good. I can't speak for everyone else but I grew in my career journey in my work ethic and collaboration skills. Team Leaders I had were the best and the colleagues were the best I've ever had on a team.

Fast paced and never ending work

It was nice working there, the job was relatively easy once you get the hang of all the systems. It took me like 4 months to get used to the systems. The politics was bad and that’s what made me leave

Great place to work

The Travel and Lifestyle Services is a great department to work in. Everyone was very professional from start to finish. Some politics are subtle but is definitely there though.

Stressful

No proper training . Most of the support doesnt know what to do . 3 months training is not enough for the job role . Pay is low . No proper Management . Benefit is good . Vacation , Personal days , Sick leave good .

Avoid

Unreasonably high stress environment. Most leaders are not experienced. Unrealistic expectations from CCP to behave like robots yet maintain metrics. No growth options.

relaxed work environmentGet access to multiple learning platforms which help in professional growthworked on a few projects, took multiple internal moves within the department hybrid work environment was the most convenient part of job, it saved me 3 hours of commuting time

Ive been here for 3 years now, and leaving is extremely hard. The company does a great job with career development while giving you the freedom to grow and tackle challenges as needed.

Es una empresa de gran nombre, pero ventas personales esta super amañada

No hay claridad de procesos para buscar leads, trabajas toda la semana en puntos de venta o en oficina. Las bases de datos de posibles clientes se las dan solo a top performers y cuando te toca llamar los clientes están odiando a AMEX por tanta llamada.

Remote

Good remote job good bonuses but no room for advancement if you are remote. They push the hybrid workers before the remote. I do enjoy working here but this is why I am leaving

Great work life balance

Easy work, but you have to suck up to your leaders if you ever want to think about a promotion. 2 days a week in office, likely moving to 3 in 2024. Overall good place to stay for two years, then jump.

Rewarding job

I took inbound calls and upsell credit card products. Job was great because of high rewards for upselling products from American Express. You’ll enjoy the job if you can work under pressure
