The most useful review selected by IndeedI left because of a manager who over step his bound's with me on respect of the individual I would have stayed if it wasn't because of that.

Would never go back
Arby's Crew Member (Former Employee) - Gardendale, AL - July 2, 2022
The manager that trained me did very little to help me succeed. I was thrown in with no training. Very unprofessional. Took too many smoke breaks and was constantly on the phone.
Pros
Easy job
Cons
Terrible training

Fun and excellent place to work!!
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Lenoir, NC - July 1, 2022
I absolutely loved working there but they didn't pay enough for me to continue working there. A great place for teenagers to work. Very flexible with your schedule. No issues if you needed to request time off as long as it was done in a timely manner. Management was great. No matter who the manager was they were always on the floor helping especially during the rushes. Definitely didn't stay hold up in the office like most managers at other places do. Would definitely recommend my friends to work there.

A free meal every work day
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Cincinnati, OH - July 1, 2022
I would recommend being a Crew Member more in the sense of it being a first job other than that being that busy for the amount of pay isn’t worth it .

Fun and team oriented
Nationally Certified Training Manager (Current Employee) - Lacey, WA - June 30, 2022
Being part of the team makes you feel like part of a big family. Everyone is really nice and the managers actually care. Monthly fun days are cool too. Oh and getting free food is great. The chicken sandwiches are great!

Amazing team to work with
Arby's Crew Member (Former Employee) - Greenup, KY - June 30, 2022
The team you work with at Arby's WILL become your second family. They are some of the most caring people who always stick up for each other and are always there to help each other out. Sure, the pay isn't GREAT but it's definitely worth working there, especially if it's a first job.
Pros
Free lunches, flexible schedules, you can be open about anything, great teamwork
Cons
A tad below the average wage

It's nice for a bit
Team Member (Former Employee) - Monaca, PA - June 29, 2022
It was nice at first but once I had been there for a while it was just too much for my mental stability, they always expect way too much from you even when you haven't been there long enough to know everything, when they get frustrated at you, they put on simple tasks because they think newer employees aren't good enough to progress to higher positions, this job put me down alot, I wish I could have completely avoided this job in the first place, managers are rude and not very understanding, customers aren't nice to you ever, and you are forced to do three to four tasks at once but when you can't do it all at once the managers and everyone else like to get angry and make you feel stupid, I hated working here, I wouldn't recommend it, and I would never work at any Arby's ever again.
Pros
None
Cons
Everything

I've just started and the people here are already so kind and nice to be around. It can get busy working here, but when we all work together and cooperate, we can complete the tasks at hand.

Pointless work with pointless pay
Shift Manager (Former Employee) - Kyle, TX - June 28, 2022
Working at Arby's feels like stacking a bunch of blocks as a tower, then knocking them down repeatedly. There are many things you have to do constantly while working at the restaurant which cannot truly be satisfied until you close. Cleaning as you go is a philosophy in which you are constantly cleaning while working a shift and can lead to a lot of unnecessary effort. There are times where you will be hit with a slam of cars and will be working extra hard if you care about your window time. The pay is pathetic from $8 as an employee to $11-$12 as a shift manager. I would recommend seeking a better job with a better effort to pay ratio. Working at Arby's is very hard if you are a hard worker and care about being good at your job.

Normal fast food job
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Albemarle, NC - June 27, 2022
Arby's is an okay to work depending on the location and management. I never truly hated the job, just wanted more pay and never felt customers understood what each employee went through on a daily basis.
Pros
free lunches but specific items
Cons
shortbreaks

Fun work place
Cashier (Former Employee) - Milton, FL - June 27, 2022
I loved the management!! But Arbys doesn’t care about there employees or working conditions. It would be great for a high schoolers first job but not for someone trying to move up in the company.
Pros
Free food
Cons
May not get a break

Just not a fast food kind of guy
I’m not a fast food kind of guy I did it so I can get some extra cash. When your 16 fast food is really the only thing you have for a job but once you turn 18 everything almost everything opens up to you and it great

Sweet customers, co workers
Crew Coordinator (Former Employee) - Orlando, FL - June 25, 2022
I had fun working there with my coworkers, but me having back issues made it not a good position for me, and when I put in my two weeks notice I was given no hours.

Eh Place to work
Team Member (Former Employee) - Bowling Green, OH - June 24, 2022
Some favoritism. Some good managers and some bad managers. The crew works well as a team it’s an okay staff. They are flexible with your schedule. Give you the hours you want. It’s like any other fast food job. Not many breaks.
Pros
Flexible schedule
Cons
Short breaks, favoritism, bad managers

It’s my job
Backline Cook (Current Employee) - Statesville, NC - June 24, 2022
It’s fast food. If you’ve never worked in fast food, it’s fast paced. Personally, I don’t like working in fast food but the job isn’t hard at all, just can be tiring since I close. Managers are okay, coworkers and I don’t really speak as I work backline. It’s a little lonely back there but if you enjoy being by yourself, backline is for you.

people personalities
Cashier/Cook (Current Employee) - Vicksburg, MS - June 23, 2022
I learn how customers are. Some have good days and some have bad days. Management is fair well. The hardest part is when you are having a rush. The most enjoyable part is being able to get the feeling of working fast foods.
