A good starting job for fresh graduate.

You should know how to manage your stress if you want to survive in banking industry. You go for work early morning and go home beyond working hours (evening). Good medical and monetary benefits for staff. They have collective bargaining agreement for staffs every year which other banks don't have. Longer banking hours than the other banks. Just wish that you will have a good workmates so that you will enjoy working even there's so much work to do.

Good benefits

Working with the company is challenging. You have to give your time and effort to your work. You have to manage your time accordingly. They offer good benefits to everyone. And have a good promotional structure.

Profuctive with good benefits

Overall work experience is great. Good management and friendly colleagues. With overtime pay and compensation is fair. Benefits are outstanding. Work is subjective to different departments.

Stable company.

If you're looking for a stable and good benefits, this company is for you. The work itself is not really that hard but the volume of works is a little big since it's a big company. Overall, it's indeed a great company to work in.

Good company with good benefits

A good company overall. If you are a staff, it’s just that the pay is really not enough for you to support your family but the benefits are there. Inflation. Gas prices. To think that in operations the workload is kinda heavy for that little salary. Suggest to reconsider the starting basic salary and everything will be good

Stable and comfortable

BDO is a great company to stay in because they offer higher than average compensation. As long as you work hard, you will likely get an increase annually. Great place also to learn because the Bank is so big, you can request for transfer if you're interested in something specific and you have the skills needed.

Okay job for minimum salary

Best job for a starter career in the field of finance especially with the tellers job is just sitting and checking papers, but there's not much growth in terms of career

Productive and fun workplace

It is natural for the number one bank to have voluminous workload that exceeds working hours and have no work life balance mostly in operations department. New hire employees have to resign early because of workload and proximity of location while they've got low salary. BDO must look into it, and give the right salary for the position that is overworked.

Pros

Lots of benefits

Cons

Career advancement

Best workplace for middle management

Company gives the biggest bonuses in the industry. There's work-life balance here. More space for growth. Bosses are young and agile, teammates are collaborative.

Management was unfair

Iv'e been working with this company for 11years but last 2018, I didn't received my salary increase (yearly employee benefit). The management dissolved our Unit/Team last 2017 and thats their reason on no salary increase but it is not the emplyees fault! Ive been responsible with my assingment/task on time in this company but the management stay unfair!

High-paying company but stressful

Processing over-the-counter transactions of clients. The growth and promotion depends on your performance and the branch manager. If the branch manager doesn't like you, most likely your promotion will be delayed than the others. You must be fast and accurate to be promoted.

Pros

Free lunch (depends on the branch head), many allowances and yearly increase

Cons

long hours, personal payment for shortages, toxic clients and sometimes workmates

job security, good compensation

offers competitive salary package but since it is one of the biggest banks, you need to work doubly hard to meet yearly targets that are also increasing.

Pros

work in a prestigious and largest bank in the country, merit increase, meal allowances that increases over time, retirement scheme that is commensurate with tenure.

Cons

meal allowance is given every 6 months in the form of sodexo (not cash), overtime is discouraged, most of the time you will render OT without pay.

Customer Service Associate

The work of a CSA is a routine everyday. You won’t develop your other skills in this kind of job. And you will not have a work-life balance. You enter the branch before the opening hours, and go home very late.

Pros

Bonuses

Cons

Long hours

Very limited and routinely work. Good benefits but basic salary is Low

I worked as a client service associate for 2 year and 4 months. Other officers are not good but there are some who are considerate and very professional. Trainings and exams are very upto date. Workmates are easy to be with. When you are fast learner, you can understand the work right away as it is routinely. If you want comfort and less challenge, this company is for you.

Pros

Upto 16th month pay, 5, 500 quarterly food allowance thru Sodexo, Different allowances are provided every month. Lesser work

Cons

Small salary, insecure boss, slow promotion, routinely work
