Positive Outlook I have been working at Cognizant Technology Solutions full-time (More than 3 years) Pros lots of opportunities available in many different fields and locations Cons while still working for a company as a cognizant consultant, you are still required to do a bunch of side tasks and shenanigans for cognizant. Luckily if you do a good job the client will treat you very good. Advice to Management make the environment more diverse, i know its a company mainly owned by guys from India, but don't forget that the US is a very diverse country and promotes diversity, meaning employing people from different countries

I enjoyed management

Mangers definitely cared about training and your ability to do the job. Instead of firing and replacing you they send you back to training. Co-workers we’re nice. Everybody was really helpful.

Poor CTS leadership, terrible salary

Unacceptable salaries not seated in reality or related to the performance of duties. Company is suffering in the marketplace with lack of new business and losing high performance resources to its direct competition.

Nice place to work for. Projects are stable. Learning curve is good and depends on learning quest.Inclusive team work culture.Diversity is a problem as a result some promotions are late

Always restructuring and little focus

The company has very little employee focus. In 2022 we had 0ver 30 percent turnover as over a third of all employees left the firm making delivery and delivery quality of work extremely difficult. There was a lot of talk about improving the employee experience that did not happen. Then in 2023 business is extremely slow and they issue letters to any employee coming off a project to find a new role in 30 days or be let go !!! This has resulted in existing employees looking for jobs when they are ending projects and folks on projects leaving because they don't want to take the risk. Little investment in developing solutions beyond hype. New CEO coming in has led to the departure of head of CPG and Retail, Chief People Office, and most recently CFO plus multiple senior level leaders ! Not a happy place to be in !!!

Overall good, you can join the company,I suggest to join the company, they provide hybrid model of working as of now. I quite satisfied working with cognizant.

Bad Communication

Communication takes an extremely long time between members. Makes the work feel very slow. Community isn't as great either and feels very loose/fake. Not many challenging work either.

Very good company, work life balance. Very strict background check. Trainings are good to improve performance. Supporting seniors help to understand the process.

Friendly and fun work place easy to manage with work.

Managers and directors were very friendly natured people, very fun working place . Work culture is good , management is very supportive. Projects were very innovative.

Aggressive growth company

It is okay place to work....... people are okay. Projects are short term. Central London office. Above average pay scale. Higher management focused on growth.

What is the best part of working at the company?My experience with Cognizant was exactly what I expected it would be. I learned so very much. The people I worked with were just as important as the job was. Being successful at a job isn't all about the money you make, it's also just as important to learn to work together with your coworkers to accomplish the best outcome for your employer. Working as a team to achieve the flow of the business together. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?The only stressful part at the time that I worked for Cognizant was my own expectation of being compensated the same as my fellow coworkers. I feel the company should have made raises the same across the board. If the person who sat directly next to you and preformed the exact same task you did each and every day but made more than you was an insult to you as an equal employee. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work environment was best to none. Culture was the same. Cognizant was a place where people wanted to workWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?My days were virtually always the same. I knew my job and the expectations of the clients I worked for.

Good company to start your career

The company offers an international environment the workload varies from project to project, flexible breaks . Everything depends on how nice is your manager. Cons no promotions . Repetitive . No job security as contracts are for short periods

Good work place but less pay

Pay is less and no quick action on the growth related projects. Too many heirarchy present. Immigration friendly and good work life balance. Excellent health care benefits.
