Lots of training Management can be hit or miss but that last 8 years of my employment there, I had good managers. Hardest part of the job is the constant, not knowing if you're going to have a job, due to layoff cycles.

Good place to work - but financial growth is limited

Dell was an excellent place to work. There were good opportunities for learning technologies and multiple opportunities were provided for career growth. But considering the pay, Dell is not upto the market standard.

Flexible, supportive atmostphere

Dell cares about their employees and promotes a flexible work environment. Tough part can be depending on your team, you may have to dial in to a lot of early morning or late night calls. The company spans so many time zones that it can be tough to find good times to meet with folks.

Pros: Low stakes, flexible hours, remote work, chill work environment, not super challenging but can be somewhat interesting if you make it. Cons: Below average pay for industry standard, lots of corporate inefficiencies, not much career growth, somewhat boring work. Coworkers are on the older side because older company.

The benefits are excellent. Unfortunately they still go by archaic phone sale methods and metrics. Unrealistic are quotas often set. Teams will often be shuffled around and customers you developed relationships with will be given to different rep causing confusion with clients
