Fun workplace but low and inconsistent pay
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - South Riding, VA - January 25, 2021
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedManagers were all awesome to work with, they cared about their employees and were hard workers themselves. Overall a very fun job but the low and inconsistent pay for drivers led me to search for other jobs. Would highly recommend to kids in high school (for in store employment)
Pros
Great managers, fun place to work, very nice owner
Cons
Low and inconsistent pay

Flexible Work Schedule - Constantly Talking to many people
Operations Supervisor (Current Employee) - Michigan - October 1, 2023
Marcos is a great company and I like the culture - When its done right. The company you work for will completely determine how well you like your job. If you have a franchise that follows Marcos Cultural Beliefs - You will most likely love your job.

A good job.
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Pensacola, FL - September 28, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? I made decent money and I loved working there. It was a very easy and comfortable environment to work in. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Rush hours it could get over whelping during lunch and dinner. I hated having to do the side work after your shift. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Comfortable and clean and Iade decent money for short hours What is a typical day like for you at the company? I worked 4 or 5 hours and came home with anywhere between $30-$100.00 in tips plus I got paid by the hour. So I had a check every two weeks to look forward to.

Toxic Work Environment
Shift Manager (Former Employee) - Frisco, TX - September 26, 2023
Overall unprofessional work environment. As well, most of the employees don't wear gloves when making food. As well, a lot of the employees vape while making pizza.

Garbage ah job
Crew Member (Current Employee) - 708 w Glen Ave - September 25, 2023
You might wanna go homeless before you work here. Trash management and unreasonable management. I first started in March under completely different management and they treated me like garbage. Don’t work here if you could help it.

It's a job
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Canton, OH - September 24, 2023
It's more of a part time position. The environment was mellow and co workers were chilled. The daily activity of delivery driver was transporting food items from pizza shop to customers location, accepting cash or card payments from customer to bring back to pizza shop, and stock merchandise in shop and clean areas or shop plus making pizza boxes.

Not good very long hours no break
Crew Member (Former Employee) - Lithonia, GA - September 24, 2023
Not organized when it comes down to corporate contacts and management very unprofessional! Very unlikely to have a set break ache and more than likely not given a break
Pros

Employees are respectful of each other and guests, and have a passion for excellence.
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Magnolia, TX - September 21, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? No drama! All of the employees are respectful of each other, and always willing to help each other to make sure that the guests food is prepared correctly and that nothing is missing from the order before the delivery driver leaves the restaurant! What is the most stressful part about working at the company? It’s a bit challenging, closing with different managers every night because they each perform their closing procedures at different times. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Very respectful of each other, and always helping with training even though is there is no formal training manual. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Washing dishes, delivering pizzas, taking orders over the phone and through the drive-through and cleaning

Very fast paced at times can be fun if you have the right people working with you.
Insider (Former Employee) - Cleveland, TN - September 20, 2023
A typical work days is coming in clocking in and getting straight to work. I learned a lot like how to handle money and stressful situations. Management was always a 50/50 the managers were nice but if the GM was in a bad mood everyone knew it and everyone could feel it in the atmosphere.
Pros
free meal

It's not a bad place to work
Pizza Maker (Current Employee) - Sandusky, OH - September 19, 2023
It's easy and the hours are flexible. The pay is absolutely horrible. Especially in today's world. Good for teenagers, but unless you're a driver and make good tips, you cannot live on their wages. Would probably be a good 2nd job.

Don't get paid enough for mileage
Driver (Current Employee) - Cypress, TX - September 18, 2023
You get 1 dollar per delivery and they want you to do a lot for 8.50. it's a easy job but I would only work if you just need to make a little change for a minute

it provides a paycheck
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Cullman, AL - September 16, 2023
minimal amount of work expected from management. having a good work ethic is not appreciated. management makes excuses for the low performers and have no expectations out of these workers.
Pros
free shift meal for 6+ hrs
Cons
back stabbing coworkers. no set rules for what is expected from workers on make line, cut line etc. management was too limp wristed to confront lazy employees.

Decent pay...
General Manager (Current Employee) - Woodstock, GA - September 15, 2023
When my paychecks don't bounce...which has happened 4 times in 6 months. The owner can't follow through with simple requests like paying a technician to repair the walk in cooler. And communication is extremely poor.

Marcos may be a good company but the Mpz holdings franchise is terrible to work for
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) - Greenville, SC - September 14, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The franchises in this area will over work anyone they hire and cannot remain staffed appropriately What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The owners and upper management are all liars What is the work environment and culture like at the company? They hire lazy kids and expect 1-2 ppl to handle the entire days workload What is a typical day like for you at the company? Showing up for an 8-10 hour closing shift and realizing I had to not only handle dinner rush but clean the entire days mess from the store cuz day shift won’t

This is no longer a “People First” company!
Prefer not to say (Former Employee) - Mishawaka, IN - September 13, 2023
Upper management micromanages the middle managers to the point that they are stifled from even DOING their job! I miss when the company used to care about people and value ideas and creativity and encourage people to take ownership of growing the business. Now it’s all cut, cut, cut, and they’re going to cut the life right out of everyone there.
