MUFG Great place to work

I really enjoyed my time working there. I worked remotely and on site. I had very few issues when I was there. I would definitely work there again in the future.

Good from a learning perspective. Pay can be more accommodative. Exposure to Japan and Asia region. Supportive internal management and good opportunity to learn

Terrible

Not a good place. Never work for a Japanese bank. Move on as soon as you can. Backstabbing coworkers. They could and should to learn to embrace diversity before thinking they can capitalize on diverse minds. Put your time in and GO.

I loved working with mufg

I want mufg to come back to Pakistan Karachi a great place to work I will join again for sure, they give benefits so we can run our families expenses, activities, picnics, enjoyed working with japanese boss they were very kind and hard working and respectful.

A bit unpleasant experience

Toxic environment. Senior colleagues were too biased, too much unecessary talks between them as well. So far I:- got an excellent performance, but being criticized because I don’t have those “best friend” bond with my team- unrealistic expectations towards staff level employee who just started working for 2-3 months- they did unecessary background check

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?

Management not on the same page in addition to lack of knowledge of the business

I definitely would not recommend working. Here management will give you incorrect answers to questions and never hold themselves accountable. They like training and knowledge of their own workplace terrible company.

Great support from coworkers and supervisor as most positions are remote.

I found working for MUFG First Union Bank to be a great experience. My supervisor was very knowledgeable and was very helpful. There is a team atmosphere and most coworkers are very friendly and supportive. I found the IT department helpful and accomodating.

Good benefit

Its a goof place to start your career, benefit and bonus is good compared to others. But as a japanese corporate banking the procedure in this bank is rather unique, complicated and not as advanced as other commercial banking

Over hired people and let good people go

I worked for over 6 months then my contract ended. Was hoping for FT work. My advice is make sure early on you don’t come to fill a spike in work then when things cool off you’re gotten rid of. They said my work performance was great but the assignment is over?
