People centric company, needs to be faster

PayPal keeps employees at the centre of every process in the company. Their leadership principles are centred around wellness and doing the right thing. However, they are slow to market. One needs to go around a bit of bureaucracy to get anything done. In my opinion they bank too much on the Trust they have with their customers and put innovation on the back burner.

Great place to work

PayPal is an amazing place to work. Great culture, competitive peers, good work life balance, great pay. Changing leadership is generally the only problem here.

Inhouse culture is great!

Supportive management and lots of leave credits per yer. Great pay and excellent office! Had a great time working with them, I didn't feel any stress or pressure working.

Productive and fun workplace

Great work life balance and collaboration . Very friendly team . Managers are supportive. But I can be very repetitive at times . Interview and back ground check can be lengthy

Awful

This company used to be such a great place to work when I first started over 6 years ago. Now it is a complete and total nightmare. If you want to work for a job where you are forced to take abusive customer calls from start to finish, day in and day out and get written up or possibly even terminated for trying to step away for a few moments to regroup, this is the place for you! Otherwise, steer clear from applying at this horrific company. There's a reason why the CEO quit and their stock is plummeting...

Great environment

Too many weekly reviews of metrics, and not enough praise when you are meeting metrics. The day can be stressful with back to back calls/chats. Pay, benefits and bonuses were great.

Fun culture but…

Fun environment with many activities for staff. Management however can be a tad sneaky in their undertakings especially when they require to downsize and they can’t really find any reason to let someone go.

Was great at first now it’s a nightmare

Thought I would be here for ever. Made it through layoffs and now I am trying everything I can to find a new job. We all live in constant fear. People are afraid to ask questions. Hostile work environment doesn’t even justify. It’s very sad.

Stressful place to work

PayPal is nothing but stress. They pile on loads of new work/stressful changes and don’t pay you more. They like to dangle carrots that you will never get to eat. It starts to make you feel worthless. Working for PayPal may cause depression/anxiety

Great place

I think it was very fun it did what it need to do good pay laughing a lot control over availability, lunch was great. Shifts are set correctly. Very good team.

Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy to work here.

Fast paced and always changing

Great benefits, team leaders genuinely care about their staff, good career prospects if you work hard and show your talent. Only issue is Dundalk office closed so if you want to be seen by top management you need to go to head office in Dublin. Remote work can be lonely but my team are a great bunch of people and support you all the time.

Repetitive conversations, High targets - pressurised environment

Very repetitive work having the same conversations constantly, high pressure from management to meet high targets or else things will go down the discipline route, systems forever changing along with processes - very hard to advance

Horrible management

Horrible management- only focus is targets - horrible pay for work load - making changes to your workload that impact your personal live, for example change work days and times with 2 weeks notice and no options of debating it - micro management all over

Company going under

Company is under investigation and everyone is getting laid off! Be wary! Horrible communication, barely any training and heavily micromanaged. Pay is very middle of the road

That glitter isn't gold

Don't let the fancy building and cafeteria fool you. The management is terrible and they'll find any and every way to not qualify you for a bonus regardless of how good your attendance is or how much money you've moved/collected. Super discounted food/beverage doesn't make up for thousands of dollars not paid to keep my mortgage and happiness afloat.

One of the better call centers to work for. Someone always there to help with any issues you have during a call. Friendly peers supervisors that have done the job.

Decent workplace culture

Workload is manageable but its dependent on team and project. Work life balance can be achieved here. Salary is quite low and increment is non existent. Management will always side HR.
